VP Pool Report 11– VP Vance takes stage

Vice President JD Vance takes the stage at 2:19 local time. He entered to Toby Keith’s “American Ride.”

There were shouts of “JD” a few moments before he spoke and chants again when he took the stage.

After Rep. Gill’s remarks, the vice presidential seal was placed on the podium.

There are a group of attendees behind the vice president, with an American flag hung on his right side, and a Texas flag hung on this left side.

It is 77 degrees here today, leading to large fans blowing in this Texas venue, as some attendees fan themselves with signs that include slogans like “Keep the Majority” and “Stop Schumer.”

Many attendees are wearing MAGA hats, although there are a few donning cowboy hats in this crowd as well— many are also sporting red t-shirts, your pooler spotted some that say “Let’s Keep Texas Red.”

Signs placed in the venue say “Restoring Common Sense” and “Defend Our Future.”

Earlier your pooler spotted several people on horseback positioned outside the venue.
