Vice President JD Vance Meets with Prime Minister Meloni of Italy

ROME, ITALY - Today, at the Palazzo Chigi in Rome, Italy, Vice President JD Vance met with Prime Minister of Italy Giorgia Meloni. The Vice President and Prime Minister also held an expanded bilateral meeting which included Deputy Prime Ministers of Italy Matteo Salvini and Antonio Tajani. The leaders discussed the significant cultural and religious ties between the United States and Italy, ongoing efforts to ensure fair and reciprocal trade, and a peaceful resolution to the brutal war between Russia and Ukraine.
