FLOTUS Pool #3

FLOTUS pool proceeded to Hopscotch after POTUS and FLOTUS sat with the children as they drew cards for military members.

The Hopscotch is “Be Best” themed and decorated with eggs. Each egg reads “brave,” or “caring,” “smart” or “kind.”

FLOTUS joined the children by herself here and encouraged them as they played the game.

We departed for the Reading Nook. Per a Daily Mail reporter, FLOTUS was asked about Pope Francis’ death and she responded: “I’m sorry for your loss.”

At the Reading Nook, FLOTUS reads “Bunny with a Big Heart.” The Nook is decorated with flowers and a white garden seat for the reading. More than 100 guests gathered for the reading. Lots of happy kids and crying babies present.

“Happy Easter! What a beautiful crowd!” She says. After reading the book, she asks the children what they learned. “Yes, we need to make friends and take care of them as well,” she says to one child.

“Kindness, yes,” she responds to another child.

“I hope to see you next year,” she concludes.
