POTUS said he and the PM talked about the war and trade.

The PM said this year marks the 200th year of Norwegian immigration to the US. He said he saluted Trump for his initiative for trying to end the war in Ukraine. It needs “ political will and push”, the PM said, adding that they exchanged ideas on this.

Trump said the US and Norway understand each other on trade and that they should be able to reach a deal without issue.

The PM said POTUS is welcome to visit Norway.

Trump said, when it comes to the war in Ukraine, he has “no allegiance”.
