The pool has been called to gather for President Trump's first public event of the day, a "sports announcement" from the Oval Office, according to the daily guidance.

POTUS is scheduled to hold two closed-press events in the Oval later this afternoon, before attending an evening event at the Trump National Golf Club Washington D.C.
