VP Vance’s motorcade departed at 2:05 pm local time from the Piazza del Popolo area in Rome, after the VP and second lady had lunch at San Baylon and briefly browsed for wine at a nearby store.
Motorcade now en route to Fiumicino airport for departure back to US.
Pool joined motorcade near the lunch site but was not inside during the meal.
