In-town pool note 8: Marine One departure

POTUS emerged from the Oval Office at 3:42 pm and walked down the sidewalk, waved and pumped his fist at the media hordes standing a distance away. He did not respond to, and probably couldn’t hear, shouted questions.

As he approached Marine One, a cheer went up from the large crowd of well wishers lining the driveway east of the portico. Following behind were Natalie Harp and Steven Cheung.

POTUS is en route Joint Base Andrews, final destination for today: NJ. Marine One lifted off at 3:47 pm.
