pool report 1 - no news

Good morning from the White House on a beautiful late-spring but feels-like-early-to-mid-spring morning. There's someone riding a big lawn mower on the North Lawn, a bunch of workers are mixing concrete or mortar by the Colonnade in the Rose Garden, and the president has nothing public on his schedule.

Pool has asked for the lunch with the VP to be opened to press. That request was declined.

Will advise if anything changes.
