Pool entered the room at 11:05. Trump was seated to Carney’s left around a large round table, and to the right of Starmer.

Carney gave welcome remarks, during which he referenced the G7's long history of collaboration on economic and security issues. Please check quotes against the video:

Carney singled out Trump for praise, complimenting him for recognizing that the world is changing and for "taking bold measures to address it."

"We might not agree on absolutely every issue but where we will cooperate we will make an enormous difference."

Pool was ushered out at the conclusion of Carney's remarks, about 11:10. Trump ignored shouted questions about Israel-Iran and what he hoped to accomplish in his meetings today.
