Arrived at the command center at 2pm PT. VP will be greeted and given a tour of the FBI Mobile Command Center and Building by Akil Davis, FBI Los Angeles Assistant Director.
Press is told we’re not allowed in the command center due to classified information in there. It’s a Federal Joint Operations Center where 14 different federal agencies are coordinating the situation here in LA.
VP Vance will be talking with DOD, DEA, DHS, ICE and local LA PD and CA highway patrol, according to his team. He'll receive a briefing from each of these organizations on how they are all working together.
