Steve Witkoff, Special Envoy to the Middle East, spoke to reporters outside the White House for about 20 minutes.

He discussed President Trump's meeting with hostages released from Gaza, but also covered other topics, including negotiations with Ukraine and Hamas.

"Hamas has an opportunity to act reasonable, to do what's right, and then to walk out. They're not going to be a part of a government there."
