POTUS, Powell and Tim Scott stopped for press questions before starting tour. Trump and Powell had back and forth over cost of renovations, Powell visibly shaking his head "no" as Trump cited cost of $3.1B, up from $2.7B.
POTUS would not say if issues give him cause to fire Powell, but in general said as a real estate developer he would fire a project manager who was over budget.
