VP travel pool report #3: Bilateral meeting

At 2:28 p.m., pool entered the drawing room of Chevening House where Vice President Vance and Lammy, the foreign secretary, are holding a bilateral meeting.

The two men are seated in red-and-pink striped wingback chairs, flanked by their respective advisers and officials on floral sofas and in additional armchairs. Two American flags and two Union flags are set up behind them.

Over the fireplace and marble mantle hangs a photograph of William Pitt, a former prime minister. The room is being lit only by natural sunlight, coming in from large windows accented with long red floral-patterned drapes.
