report 7 — back at WH and lid

The president’s motorcade pulled onto the South Lawn driveway at 1537 after a routine drive back along roads and highways again closed to other traffic in our direction.

Pool caught the briefest glimpse of the president stepping out of the SUV at 1538 as the press vans came to a halt.

The pro-Trump contingent had grown to about 20 supporters on the sidewalk just outside his golf course as we departed there. Pool did not notice any protesters.

White House press announced a lid for the day at 1539.

Thanks for following along and bon rest of your Labor Day.
