In-town note 6: POTUS praise for Nawrocki

POTUS, seated next to Nawrocki, praised him for his election victory and said it was an “honor” to have endorsed him.

“He's a very successful man, but he was, he went into a political hatchet, so to speak. It was a pretty tough race, pretty nasty race, and he beat them all. And he beat them all very easily, and now he's become even more popular as they got to know him and know him better,” Trump said.

POTUS and Nawrocki discussed the flyover in memory of a Polish pilot who died in training, calling him a “legend.”

Meeting ongoing, check against video.
