Was hard to see from the distance pool was at, but worth noting that footage from the arrival shows POTUS and King Charles III chatting and joking as they inspected the troops, with the king at one point putting his hand on Trump’s back, and the pair stopping to talk with the sword-wielding officer who escorted them.
Pool still holding. Cucumber (and tuna) sandwiches were offered.
