Out-of-town pool report #15 - JBA arrival/Marine One departure/handoff

AF1 touched down at JBA at 7:52 pm against a night sky with a bit of a jolt. POTUS and FLOTUS, who was wearing sunglasses, deplaned at 8:03 pm, holding hands for part of it.

About 50 minutes after takeoff from Stensted Airport, POTUS came back and gaggled for nearly 20 minutes. Audio should have been broadcast in the briefing room, but thanks to co-pooler Nikki Schwab, I’ll send a transcript of most of it in a separate email.

Marine One and support helicopter were wheels up to the White House at 8:12 pm.
