VP pool report #4 — arrival, Vantage Plastics

Motorcade arrived at destination at 11:45am following an uneventful ride. Though it’s a pleasant and sunny 51 degrees out, motorcade did pass a number of snowbanks on the side of the highway en route.

A small group elementary age children were lined up out front of their school to wave at the motorcade about halfway through the trip. A number of other pedestrians filmed and waved flags along the way. There were two groups of protesters, roughly 50 people in all, flanking the entrance to the facility, holding signs criticizing Trump/Vance on DOGE, Ukraine, Gaza, Mahmoud Khalil, and other topics

Pool did not have eyes on VP’s entrance and is moving into position for remarks. White House advises that VP will no longer be touring the facility, just delivering remarks, due to shifts in his schedule.
