WH Travel Pool Note #14: Bibi remarks

PM Netanyahu began his remarks at 1:24pmlocal.

Highlights from Netanyahu remarks:

Thanks Trump for a long list of actions including: moving embassy to Jerusalem, and recognizing Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights, "standing up to the lies against Israel at the UN," brokering the Abraham accords, withdrawing from nuclear deal, for launching operation Midnight Hammer.

"Donald Trump is the greatest friend that Israel has ever had in the White House. No American president has ever done more for Israel. And it's not even close."

Thanks him for a proposal that brought all the hostages home and that achieved "all our objectives."

Long applause for an American Israeli injured in Gaza.

"There is a time for peace and a time for war. The coming years will hopefully be a time for peace."

Very warm embrace between the two men at the end of Bibi speech.
