Air Force Two landed at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar at 6:54pm local. It was a scenic, yet uneventful flight. The family deplaned at 7:10pm. The Second Lady and the Vance’s two eldest children deplaned just ahead of the vice president, who was carrying their youngest in tow.
The second lady’s parents greeted the family at the bottom of the stairs from the plane, excitedly hugging their grandchildren
The vice president’s motorcade started rolling at 7:14pm. Along the route, the motorcade passed parked fighter jets and stacks of missiles.
The motorcade dropped Vice President Vance and his family at their RON at 8:10pm. He doesn’t have any public events on his schedule for this evening.
Your pooler will pick back up tomorrow as the vice president’s attends the America's Marines250 event at Camp Pendleton.
