Pool note #11: POTUS remarks cont’d

Pool was escorted out after the angel mom spoke. We were then brought back to the Great Hall as the president had returned to the podium to give additional remarks, below:

• Many people don’t take fentanyl intentionally. A little bit can kill the strongest person in the room.
• we’re going to defend
• law ends where tyranny begins
• I was attacked by a political opponents. Probably more than anyone
• return of and order people are witnessing the triumph of American justice and freedom
• Rudy Giuliani suffered greatly. Greatest mayor in the history of our country
• we will rebuild pride in our institutions and bring back faith in our justice system
• this has been a great honor. I was asked to do it and wondered if it was appropriate but I think it’s a good thing and it’s a great honor
