At 4:11 pm an open elevator brought the President down to the remarks space, and cheers were heard in the audience while “God Bless the USA” started playing.
POTUS then walked around the stage, pumping his fist, waiving and clapping.
He stood for a brief moment, waiting for the song to end. He started speaking at 4:14 pm to chants of “USA! USA!”
His remarks stream in all the usual places but your pooler will effort color and some highlights.
