AF1 was wheels down at 11:32 am. We received an escort of two F-16 fighter jets into South Korea.

POTUS gaggled for 23 minutes during the flight, fielding questions on Gaza, the shutdown, China and his talk about trying to run for a third term. Sending quotes separately.

Also of note: Passengers aboard AF1 were treated to a spectacularly surreal overhead view of the snow-frosted peak of Mount Fuji about 15 minutes into the flight.
