Hi,
I am your foreign pooler on this day of the Central Asia–US Summit at the White House.

Ahead of the critical meeting, Deputy Secretary of State Chris Landau and Special US Envoy for South and Central Asia Sergio Gor had visited Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. “It was a hugely successful visit,” Gor said at the C5+1 Welcome Reception at the State Department on Wednesday.
“President Trump has asked us to engage more actively. He invited the five presidents here,” Landau said. The foreign ministers of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and the ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic attended the welcome reception.
“Under his (POTUS) leadership, the United States has pursued a clear, principled foreign policy that defends our interests, promote peace through strength, and builds partnerships that are based on results, not rhetoric. The C5+1 platform remains central to that vision, expanding cooperation on energy, infrastructure, and economic growth that makes America and our partners safer, stronger, and more prosperous,” Gor said.
“Our national interests are aligned, and I think tonight’s reception, tomorrow’s meeting, and some of the things we’re going to do together in the months and weeks and – to come are going to further strengthen that,” Secretary of State Marco Rubio said at the welcome reception.
