Foreign pool report #2 - arrival

Viktor Orbán arrived at 12:25 AM, almost a hour behind schedule. Trump greeted him at the West Wing entrance. Your pooler couldn’t hear Trump’s answers to shouted questions about Putin and Ukraine.

Contrary to recent foreign leaders’ visits, there was no military Color Guard along the driveway.

The Hungarian delegation includes:

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán

Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó

Minister of Construction and Transport János Lázár

Political Director Balázs Orbán

Press Secretary János Máté

Chief National Security Advisor Marcell Bíró

Other officials, including other four cabinet members who accompanied Orbán to Washington, are not included.

Orban is not expected to speak at the sticks after the meeting with Trump.
