in-town pool report #3 - Rose Garden music

Music was playing loudly from the sound system President Trump installed on the Rose Garden side of the West Wing. From the press area and Lower Press office, your pooler could hear tunes from "Phantom of the Opera" and other songs. Colleagues reported hearing "It's A Man's Man's Man's World" by James Brown and other hits. In the far distance, construction noise mixed in from the President's White House ballroom project, creating a unique symphony on an otherwise still autumn afternoon. The Press Office had nothing to share about the reasons for the impromptu concert.
