Pool was escorted into the East Room at 1956 ET after a brief hold outside during which a recorded program could be heard that appeared to be partly composed of Bocelli singing to parts of Hans Zimmer’s soundtrack from Gladiator, plus a recording of POTUS taking the oath of office this past January as well as Queen’s “We Are the Champions” and (of course) “YMCA” by The Village People.
