In-town pool report #2 — Syria remarks and M1 lifts

President Trump walked out of the White House at 1:42pm and spoke briefly with reporters about the Americans killed in Syria.

He began his remarks by expressing condolences to the families of the deceased, whom he called "three great patriots."

In response to a question about if the U.S. would retaliate against ISIS, POTUS said "we will retaliate."

In response to another question about what he would do if U.S. soldiers were attacked again, he repeated "we will retaliate."

POTUS said the wounded seem to be doing pretty well.

He wore a blue and maroon scarf and held a red hat in his hand. Your pooler saw Bessent board M1 after the president.

M1 is wheels up at 1:47pm for the Army-Navy game.

Handing over to your out-of-town pooler for now.

Talk soon!
