Pool arrived at Allentown Rescue Mission at 12:41 after an uneventful ride passing a few scattered groups of onlookers who braved the cold.
Pool entered a room at 12:49 where VPOTUS and SLOTUS were wearing gloves and serving food. The VP, wearing a white button up and a blue vest, put on a hair net and joked to Secretary Chavez-DeRemer he doesn't often wear them. He asked if a line of dozens of men if they would like turkey or ham or both and asked their names. He told several "merry Christmas."
"Cooked carrots are disgusting," Vance said in response to someone who asked for everything but the carrots. "Don't tell my wife I said that."
At 12:56, the pool was led out to the lobby as the Vances continued to serve food alongside Chavez-DeRemer and Rep. Ryan MacKenzie.
VPOTUS and SLOTUS will have a private lunch with some members of the rescue mission, according to OVP. Your pooler was told the room was too tight for any print poolers and was not allowed inside, though stills were let in.
We will be holding in the motorcade until they finish lunch.
