Travel pool report #7 — Santa calls end

Pool was ushered out of the room at 5:02pm.

Few more details from the event:

“I could do this all day long,” Trump said but that they had to go back to working on China, Russia, Ukraine.

He boasted that the GDP has grown to 4.3%. “Great numbers, great financials. I don’t think the kids are too interested in that.” But he did tell presumably a parent of another child that the country was doing well. “We’re in very good shape.”

In all they took a half dozen or so calls.

After the cameras left, some of us heard POTUS say he wants to show the press the ballroom at Mar-a-Lago later this evening.

Pool is holding in another room for the second event on the schedule for 5:30, calls to service members.
