Travel pool report #8- ongoing

Chief of staff Wiles entered the room, to the side of the press, while the president spoke.

Questions are starting now.

Some of the opening remarks below--

Trump:

"I just want to say we've done very well, we've had discussions on just about every subject."

Trump said Zelenskyy's team "looks like central casting"

And said he plans to speak to Zelenskyy tomorrow and quite a bit over the next couple of weeks.

Zelenskyy spoke next, thanking Trump, Witkoff and Rubio.

"We discussed all the aspects of the peace plan."

Said there was "almost" an agreement on US security guarantees. Said they agreed the guarantees would be key to achieving lasting peace.

The teams are set to meet in the coming weeks and Trump will host him in Washington, maybe with European leaders, Zelenskyy said.
