Pool report 3 – Marine 1 arrival at White House

Marine 1 came in past the Washington Monument with its American history slide show and over the Ellipse on a chilly, mostly clear night to set down on the South Lawn at 2219.

The president emerged from the helicopter three minutes later and walked to the South Portico entrance, waving at the press pool but not answering shouted questions.

He entered the White House at 2123. He was followed in Commerce Sec Howard Lutnick.
