Trump said he may use tarrifs to apply pressure in his effort to annex Greenland. (Quote below.)

Trump sat and began speaking, sometimes reading from his prepared remarks and sometimes speaking off the cuff. The event is being live streamed on CSPAN's website

President Trump: "I'm all about the rural community."

President Trump says his Administration is rolling out $50 billion in rural health care funding.

"With the Rural Health Transformation program we are getting rural Americans the help they need."

He described his administration's framework for lower health care prices.

Trump described the "most favorite nations provision". He said: "We will be paying the lowest price of any nation in the world. Whatever the lowest price is, we match it."

He called the head of the pharmaceutical company Lilly an "unbelievable executive" and said Lily is building more in the US because of tariffs. He said the "same stupidity" that led to the US government handing over control of the Panama Canal to Panama also allowed other countries to pay less for prescription drugs.

He described threatening countries like France and Germany with 25% tarrifs if they don't pay more for prescription drugs. He said he called France's President Emmanuel Macron and saying: "You have to get your drug prices up." Trump said he threatened France with 25% percent tarrifs if it didn'r change.

Trump then said he may use tarrifs to pressure Denmark on Greenland. Trump: "I may do that for Greenland too."
