VP Pool Report #3 arrived at shipping facility

Motorcade arrived at Midwest Terminals facility near the Maumee River at 9:19 a.m.

We passed a few dozen protesters just outside the facility. One held a sign that said “Gestapo” and someone was flying a Palestinian flag.

The VP is scheduled to speak shortly, in 10 to 15 minutes because we are running a little behind schedule. The program is open press and his remarks should be carried live. Venue was playing “Margaritaville” when we arrived. It is 20 degrees outside but feels like 3 degrees with wind.
