AF2 was wheels up at 11:11 a.m. No news in the flight. AF2 was wheels down at Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport at 11:48 a.m. CT

Vance deplaned at 12:00 p.m. CT wearing a coat but no gloves or hat despite the frigid cold and snow blowing across the tarmac. He was greeted by Commander Samuel J. Kramer of 934th Airlift Wing and Chief Master Sgt. Jennifer L. Murphy and spent about 30 seconds chatting with them before he into his suburban.

The door to the press van was frozen shut and USSS agent and noble VP comms staffer finally freed it open after quite a few attempts. Motorcade started rolling at 12:02 CT.

We have a roughly half hour drive to the event venue for the meeting, roundtable and VP’s remarks.

The temperature is 6 degrees and quite windy.
