VP Pool Report #3 arrival at presidential palace

The ride to the presidential palace was lined with Armenian and American flags hanging from poles.

There were some demonstrators on the left and right of the roadway. One had a sign that said “Does Trump support Devils?” Another had a sign that said, “The trap or TRIPP?”

The motorcade arrived at 5:42 p.m. Pashinyan was waiting on a red and gold carpet for Vance. He stepped out they shook hands. They did not make any remarks.

They climbed up a red carpet on the stairs into the palace.

After Vance and the PM have their meeting, they will have an expanded bilateral meeting with the participants below. There will be a brief spray at the top.

After the bilateral, Vance and the PM will deliver remarks to press.
