Out-of-town pool report #1 - Cornyn spotted at JBA

Good morning from a sunny Joint Base Andrews. I’ll be your pooler for President Trump’s trip to Corpus Christi, Texas and Palm Beach, Florida.

While waiting for POTUS’s arrival later, pool spotted Texas Senator John Cornyn going through the scanner at the JBA terminal, and then into a private room. Cornyn is up against Texas AG Ken Paxton and Rep. Wesley Hunt in next week’s Republican primary, for which Trump has not yet endorsed a candidate.

Per WH guidance, POTUS will receive an ‘energy briefing’ at 3.05pm Texas time at the Port of Corpus Christi, and deliver ‘remarks on energy’ at the port at 3.35pm.
