WH travel pool 3 — Trump leaves plane to attend dignified transfer

The president stepped out the forward door of plane at 1339 and slowly came down the stairs, where he was greeted by Col Jamil Musa, Commander, 436th Airlift Wing, Dover Air Force Base, and Col Martha “Jeannie” Sasnett Commander, Air Force Mortuary Affairs Operations, Dover Air Force Base.

Just as when he boarded the plane at Andrews, the president is not wearing a hat or cap today.

The dignified transfer today is for the Air Force crew that was killed when their KC-135 tanker crashed in Iraq is closed press, and the pool reboarded Air Force 1 after the president left in his Cadillac SUV.
