In-town pool report #10: POTUS on Rose Garden renovation - black granite

After the event concluded, POTUS took more questions about what's happening to the colonnade of the Rose Garden. His plan is to install "beautiful, black granite. Polished granite on the areas you don't walk on, because when you walk on it..." (he trailed off and it was hard to hear.) The black granite will be a "great contrast" with the white wall of the colonnade. Asked who is paying for it, he said he was.

Forgive the earlier missing quotation mark in report #9: Mullin's wife "looks like she's about 22 years old," the president said.
