In-Town Pool Report #13 — POTUS concluded

POTUS concludes remarks at 8:49, clocking the speech at an hour and 8 minutes.

It was very hard to hear POTUS. The pool was in the back of the room and the acoustics are terrible.

“I’m going to personally campaign for every one of you,” POTUS said of the lawmakers in the room.

“We are competing against lunatics,” he said of Democrats.

Other highlights from his remarks:

He said Iran would have had a nuclear weapon “within two weeks or four weeks” of the U.S. attack.

POTUS talked about some of the people he highlighted in his SOTU speech, including the pilot in the Venezuela operation.

He complained that Democrats didn’t clap for the people at the SOTU.

“They want to create chaos. That’s all they are good at. They can’t do policy,” he said of Democrats.

He praised the military as “the greatest military of anywhere in the world.” And hailed his immigration policies.

The crowd applauded when POTUS talked about ICE at airports. And he reiterated his call to bring in the National Guard to reduce TSA lines.

He also said the National Guard has taken Washington to one of the most dangerous cities to one of he safest.

He retold the story of having dinner with Republicans in Nevada when the waitress approached him and pitched the idea of No Tax on Tips.

The president also talked about his efforts to reduce drug costs and received applause when he talked about taking money away from insurers to allow individuals to pay their own healthcare.

And he talked about his lawsuit against the BBC, adding the press needs “to be taught a lesson.”
