POTUS kicked off the cabinet meeting by congratulating and welcoming Secretary Mullin, prompting applause from those around the table. He then launched immediately into discussion about what he described as the “disgraceful” partial shutdown of “Mullin’s department,” prompting giggles from the Cabinet.

He offered an update on Epic Fury…

• knocked out 90% of missiles
• says Iran is “begging” to make a deal. Calls then “lousy fighters but they are great negotiators.”
• he says the Iranians had free reign under Biden
• “right now their naval is sunk… their air force is gone…”
• he says first level of leadership “is gone” as well as the next level of leadership. “They’re really sinister sick people.”
• on Iran’s nuclear capabilities: “if we didn't attack with the b2 bombers, they would have had a nuclear weapon within two weeks of that, maybe four weeks, but between two and four weeks they were planning to have a nuclear weapon if we didn't hit them at that time, with the new with the B2 bombers.”
• he said that Iran would have attacked the US after that “if we had a weak president they would have done some damage. But fortunately you don’t have a weak president.”
• he says “we’re very disappointed with NATO because NATO has done absolutely nothing.”
• on negotiations: “They now have a chance to make a deal, but that's up to them and they'll tell you we're not negotiating, we will not negotiate — of course they’re negotiating, if they're obliterated, who wouldn't negotiate? They are begging to make a deal. We'll see if we can make the right deal.”
• “I'm so disappointed in NATO, because this was a test for NATO. This was a test you don't have to if you don't have if you don't do that, we're going to remember, just remember, remember this a number of months from now, remember my statements. They have an expression, a great expression: Never forget. Never forget.”

• he shifted to talk about the economy, beginning with how well the S&P had been doing before the Iran war: “we're slashing regulations, and investment is pouring in from all over the world. We have the most investment of any country in history has been put into our country in the last year. And again, we had to take a little detour. Won't be long, and end soon. We had to take a little detour, go to Iran, and we had to put out a fire, very dangerous fire that could have blown up big portions of the world, if not the whole thing.”

• POTUS said he’ll ask Vice President Vance to speak about the situation in Iran, and said VPOTUS is involved with Witkoff and Kushner on negotiations.
