VP Pool Report #4: Arrival in Pakistan

Good morning! AF2 landed at PAF Base Nur Khan in Islamabad at 10:29 a.m. local time.

No visitors to the press cabin during the flight, but TV was turned to Fox News so we could watch the landing of Artemis II.

VP exited the plane at 10:46 and shook hands with local officials listed below. A young boy handed him a bouquet of flowers.

VP and other officials then walked down a red carpet past an honor guard. Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner were standing at the end of the red carpet and greeted the VP before he got into his vehicle. Pool was stationed too far from the group to see any exchanges among the officials

Motorcade was rolling shortly after past signs for Islamabad Talks April 2026. Destination unknown
