"We have a country now that is based again on merit"

POTUS highlighted some moments from his SOTU speech, as he looks to draw a contrast with Dems. He mentioned some of his guests during the speech, telling the crowd that Dems didn't clap

"That night was a very telling night"

On ICE, Border Patrol. "They keep our country great" and "safe," and said Dems want to defund the agencies

"We want to have safe borders" ... and said immigrants have to come in "legally."
