In-town pool report #1: checking in

Good morning. I'll be your in-town pooler on this rainy Sunday.

The President has no events open to the pool or the larger press corps today. According to the daily guidance, he began participating in "executive time" at 8am.

Note that ten minutes into executive time, the President wrote on his social media platform that he will be sending "representatives" again to Pakistan tomorrow for more talks with Iran. He accused Iran of a “total violation of our cease-fire agreement” for firing on ships in the Strait of Hormuz. He again threatened to bomb civilian infrastructure in Iran "if they don't take the deal" and says that "many ships" are headed to the U.S. to load up on oil. "NO MORE MR. NICE GUY!"
