In-town pool report 17: State dinner arrival

At 7:18 pm POTUS and FLOTUS walked out from the South Portico and greeted King Charles and Queen Camilla, who arrived in a black BMW.

"He made a great speech. I was very jealous," POTUS said, pointing to King Charles as the two couples stood on a red carpet and posed for photographs.

POTUS said, "Thank you very much," and the four walked inside the White House at 7:20 p.m.. POTUS and King Charles entered together, followed by FLOTUS and Queen Camilla.

FLOTUS ATTIRE STATE DINNER: Pale delphinium pink silk strapless gown by Christian Dior Haute Couture, with off-white Dior suede gloves. Dior pale delphinium silk pumps.

Buckingham Palace shared this via secondary pooler Emily Goodin about Queen Camilla's attire: Deep pink Fiona Clare evening gown. Amethyst and diamond necklace gifted by a former Duchess of Kent to Queen Victoria and then passed to Queen Mary.
