King Charles began his toast at 8:53 pm. He started by paying "tribute to your own courage" and the steadfastness of US security services in preventing further injury during the WHCD shooting.

"I can only imagine the immense pride of your parents in looking down on the great office" Trump has achieved, he said

KIng Charles also noted the "Readjustment of the East wing"

And noted the British attempt to alter the White House in 1814.

He said he was here to "renew an indispensable alliance" that is a cornerstone of security for the two nations."

He ended his toast at 9:08 saying "God bless both our countries.
