WH travel report 10 - POTUS quotes and landed in MIA

AF1 was wheels up from PBI 6:44pm

AFI was wheels down at MIA at 7:04 pm

POTUS spoke briefly to reporters before take off (when he was on the tarmac at PBI.)

POTUS referenced canceling a plan to speak with reporters later this evening at his Doral club. “We can do this right here instead of Doral,” Trump said.

He started by talking about Iran. “We’re doing very well with regard to Iran. They want to make a deal,” POTUS said.

Q. Have you seen the new 14 point proposal that Iran is proposing?

“I”m looking at it,” POTUS said. “I’ll let you know about it later.”

Q. Do you want to eliminate the 15% of Iran’s missile making ability you estimate they still have?

“It would be a start for them to build up again. Yeah, I would like to eliminate it,” POTUS said.

Q. Can you imagine US energy companies in Iran?

“Could be,” POTUS said.

Q. Why is the US drawing down troops from Germany?

“We are going to cut way down, and we’re cutting a lot further than 5,000,” POTUS said.
