POTUS made comments on Iran:

On general ties:

“We’ve settled a lot of different problems that other people wouldn’t have been able to solve

“The relationship is a very strong one

…

“We did discuss Iran. We feel very similar about (how) we want it to end. We don’t want them to have a nuclear weapon. We want the straits open.

….

“We want them to get it ended because it’s a crazy thing there, a little bit crazy. And it’s no good, it can’t happen.”

Then Trump went on to other topics which will send shortly.

Pool was ushered out while Xi was talking in response to Trump’s comments, meaning it was impossible to ask questions.
