POTUS deplaned at 11:11 a.m. and stepped into the Beast.

He mouthed something to the press that looked like “thank you.”

Pool saw Will Scharf, DHS Secy Markwayne Mullin and Walt Nauta.

At JBA, POTUS started gaggling at 9:04 a.m., opening with economic news before pivoting to Iran.

Notes:

We’re in the “final stages” of negotiations with Iran.

“We'll see what happens,” either we’ll have a deal or “we're going to do some things that are a little bit nasty, but hopefully that won't happen.”

On Rep. Thomas Massie:

Massie is “a low-life.”

“We won all races last night.”

On Ken Paxton/James Talarico:

“We have a great candidate, I believe, in Texas.”

Talarico is “a very defective candidate.”

On whether a limited Iran deal would be acceptable:
