VPOTUS concluded his commencement address at 10:14 am.

The speech was live-streamed, but here are a few highlights:

“One of the defining characteristics of American air power and now space power” is the ability to adapt to new threats, Vance said.

VP told the graduating cadets: "We ask you to apply that same adaptability" to an "entirely new era of warfare."

Vance touched briefly on the Iran war.

"When the president says he will not allow Iran to have a nuclear weapon," Vance said, it is the men and women of the Air Force and Space Force "who provide force" to that guarantee.

President Trump is committed to the F-47 and Golden Dome programs and increasing the defense budget, Vance said.

Vance mentioned the mission to rescue downed U.S. pilots in Iran. "One of the most daring and amazing things that I've ever seen," Vance said of the rescue operation.

Vance also spoke about artificial intelligence.

“The thing I worry the most about AI is how it will change warfare,” he said.

Lethality in war “also coexists with our heart and our conscience,” Vance said. “Decisions over life and death must be made by humans, not machines.”
